We will be using these competencies during the year. This term we are focusing on: Managing Self.
How will we do this? Please help your child to: *be responsible for ensuring that they do their home activities each night and put their bookbag back in their bag to bring to school. *bring their bookbag into the classroom as soon as they get to school and put it in the bookbag box.
At school: *children learn to look after their own gear. *children learn the classroom and school rules and use them appropriately. *children learn to change into their togs, look after their clothes and change after swimming. *children learn to eat 1 or 2 nutritous things at morning tea time and eat everything else at lunch. *children develop an understanding of work time and play time. *children learn to treat each other kindly.
